TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Unless otherwise specified in a separate annual agreement or contract between our companies, the following terms and conditions apply to all bookings with IVT.

 

Registration and Payment
 

A deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Deposit amounts typically range from 10% to 50% of the total package price and are determined based on the services included in the itinerary.

The remaining balance is due 65 days prior to your client’s arrival date. For reservations made within 65 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payments may be made by wire transfer to our bank. Banking details will be provided upon request.

Deposit requirements may vary depending on the nature of the booking. Please contact us if your client requires additional flexibility, and we will be happy to review the available options.

 

Cancellations and Refunds
 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. The effective date of cancellation will be the date on which IVT receives written notice.

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation or booking confirmation, the following cancellation fees apply:

From the booking date to 65 days prior to arrival: Full amount of the deposit

From 64 to 35 days prior to arrival: 25% of the total package price

From 34 to 8 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total package price

From 7 days prior to arrival through the arrival date: 100% of the total package price

Cancellation terms may differ for programs that include yacht charters, villa rentals, cruises, special events, or groups of ten or more participants. Any special cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of quotation or confirmation.

The cancellation percentages above apply when the entire group or family cancels the trip. If one or more travelers cancel while the remaining guests continue with the program, the booking may be repriced based on the revised number of travelers.

Once travel has begun, no refunds will be provided for unused services or portions of the itinerary.

Travel Insurance
 

Because payments made toward a trip may become non-refundable if travel plans change, we strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

Depending on the policy selected, travel insurance may provide coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency medical expenses, emergency evacuation and repatriation, travel delays, baggage delays, and other unforeseen circumstances. Policies offering “Cancel for Any Reason” coverage may also be available.

Please note that eligibility for certain benefits, including waivers for pre-existing medical condition exclusions or Cancel for Any Reason coverage, may depend on purchasing the policy within a specified period after the initial trip deposit. Travelers should review the terms and conditions of their chosen insurance policy carefully.
